Don’t let this be you! We’ve had twice as much snow as last year and more seems to be coming every week.

With as much accumulation as we’ve had, remember to dig out your for sale sign after each snowfall. If you’re still planning to sell this winter, place your sign far enough away from the road so it’s not affected by your areas snowplow.

If you have brochures available dig a path to your sign from the road. Most people want to quickly pick up a brochure, so make it as easy as possible.

People are still shopping for homes in the winter. This winter we’ve had homes sell in Stratford and Marshfield. We’ve fielded many phone calls and emails from buyers looking for information.

There is more maintenance involved with your for sale sign during the winter, but remember, it’s all worth it in the end.

Real estate and winter don’t really mix, kind of like oil and water. Throw in a little nasty weather, add a couple holidays and you have yourself the slowest time of the year to buy or sell real estate.
